Miley Cyrus Urges America: Feed the Hungry!
Miley Cyrus has recorded a new Public Service Announced on behalf of Feeding America.
In the spot, the actress/singer takes on the role of Rickey, a former member of the Army Reserve who is trying to start a career and struggling not only with that difficult task, but also with finding a meal in general.
Miley is one of many celebrity chipping in to this important cause. Others telling the stories of real-life, poverty-stricken Americans included Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Taye Diggs and Ana Ortiz. Watch the PSA now:

ShelfX's Vending Fridge nixes the cashier, uses QR codes, RFID to 'know what you took'
QR codes and RFID tags aren't uncommon when it comes to automated payment applications, and now Colorado-based ShelfX has purposed them for its new wireless-equipped Vending Fridges. Eliminating the need for a cashier -- or cash, for that matter -- each unit allows you to purchase any items packed inside by scanning a QR code with your phone (using the company's app) or an RFID badge. Upon presenting either method to the machine, it's able to tell who you are and unlocks its door. From there, you can grab whatever you'd like, while ShelfX automatically pulls funds your account for what's been removed. The system is also smart enough to know when goods are put back, so you won't have to worry about being charged while making up your mind. All of the money goes through ShelfX, allowing it to take "a small percentage" for itself before sending a monthly payment to owners. The Vending Fridge is currently on sale for $600, and a retrofitting kit for your own fridge is also available for half that amount -- no word on whether it has kid-blocking or crab-proofing options, though. Jon Jones? brother Chandler drafted by Patriots
UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones now will have divided loyalties come this football season. His younger brother, Chandler, was drafted by the New England Patriots. Jones' older brother Arthur plays for the Baltimore Ravens.
As Les Carpenter pointed out in this must-read piece, the Jones family is one of the most-athletic in America. All three sons are now professional athletes. In an interview with Cagewriter, Jon once said that Chandler is the best of them all.
Jon's loyalty will be tested in September, when the Patriots will head to Baltimore to face the Ravens. Jon has to hope he is not schedule to fight at UFC 152 in Toronto, which is happening the night before his brothers play each other.

Survivor One World Episode 11 Recap
We begin our recap of Survivor One World, Episode 11 on Night 27. The gang returns to Tikiano Beach after voting off Leif. Of the 8 remaining players, Troyzan and Tarzan are the only two men left. And Tarzan voted with the women, so Troy is on his own. Kim was nervous during Tribal Council as Troy was trying to stir up trouble for her, but her alliances held firm.
