Celebrity chef Ramsay injured in charity soccer match

Twitter is kind of going nuts over Gordon Ramsay right now ? I guess when you?re a TV personality who?s famous for profane kitchen rants, you don?t get a whole lot of sympathy when you?re injured in a soccer match. Ramsay was participating in the Soccer Aid celebrities-vs.-pros match at Old Trafford when he was crushed by Manchester United striker Teddy Sheringham.

Even after the tackle Sheringham was oblivious to Ramsay?s injury ? patting him on the back as the chef lay in agony on the grass.

World-famous TV chef Ramsay, who once had a trial with Rangers, had to be given oxygen on the pitch before he was taken off by medics after Sheringham tackled him from behind at the match, held at Old Trafford to raise funds for Unicef.

Following the tackle, Ramsay was taken to hospital for further treatment but was released later in the evening.

Ramsay fans wasted no time updating his Wikipedia page.
