Fanboy or not, you?ve probably heard that Apple is holding a press event on September 10, 2013 and the company is expected to unveil a new iPhone, or iPhones, if rumors are to be believed.
But aside from the iPhone 5S and/or the iPhone mini, sources claimed that Apple will also be unveiling a thinner version of the iPad and an iPad mini with Retina Display, but at a later date. ?Remember last year when Apple held two events for their products? ?One was iPhone focused, then the other was all about the iPad mini and the 4th generation iPad. ?It looks like Apple is making this a tradition ? holding separate events for the devices in order for the devices to shine in its own time.
It?s not weird for Apple to update all its mobile offerings at the same time, it just gives the world something to look forward to ahead of the holidays. ?And analysts believe that Apple will once again capture the hearts of consumers and make this holiday season very profitable for the company.
The next iPhone is rumored to tout a larger-capacity battery, a new dual-LED rear-camera flash, a 12MP camera, slow motion camera feature, offline dictation, a Retina+ Sharp IGZO display with 1080p Full HD resolution, may also be equipped with ?LTE-A technology from SK Telecom, with the most intriguing feature being the fingerprint scanner.
This isn?t the first time we?ve heard Apple was said to be planning on adding this layer of security, so what makes people think that Apple would actually deliver this time? ?With all these issues regarding the state of security in mobile devices, consumers would greatly appreciate the presence of another layer of security, especially one that makes use of biometrics, something that can?t be easily hacked, though may prove quite tricky.

As for the other rumored products such as the Apple Television and the iWatch, SiliconANGLE Senior Managing Editor Kristen Nicole stated that it ?would certainly be exciting,? to see that happen on September 10th.
?It would take a lot of people by surprise ?and could greatly benefit Apple, at least from a marketing standpoint or a public relations standpoint, but there haven?t been any strong indicators so far that we?re going to see an Apple television,? Kristen said during an appearance on this morning?s Live NewsDesk Show with Kristin Feledy.
?The iWatch perhaps, this is something that has been gaining steam, at least rumor-wise, throughout the summer and even cause Apple?s shares to go up a little bit at different points of the summer. ?If they are working on an iWatch and it debuts this fall, even with consumers being hopeful and certain analysts being hopeful of a new product from Apple, there?s still questions as to whether or not something like an iWatch alone could really save Apple from its rut,? Kristen added.
