Email problems - setting up smtp outgoing server with IPhone

I have had Yola for a few years now and continue to be frustrated that NO ONE has been able to help me set up my outgoing mail server on my IPhone. I can receive messages IN but not send emails OUT! You would think since SO MANY people have IPhones that they would set up instructions on how to set up your outgoing mail server. Yola always says go to Apple, Apple says go back to Yola & they have no clue how to fix. I hate running my business this way.
