Twenty kids and their mentors from big Brothers big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties were among those who took part in the 4th Annual Grand Slam Kid?s Fishing Day tournament on June 11. they were on four Jupiter charter boats ? ?Black Dog,? ?Mystic Rose,? ?Red Beard? and Samana? ? and were among 28 boats and 116 kids, who participated in the morning tournament at Castaways Marina in Jupiter. Park Ave. BBQ provided lunch and Brown Distributing provided drinks.
Palm Beach Soccer Academy is hosting an advanced ball skills training program Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through July 29 in Palm Beach Gardens. the program runs from 10 a.m. to noon and will focus on advancing individual skills and techniques, including shooting, passing, chipping and bending the ball.
