Ad Description: This is the first of my new bowl-back octave mandolin design.
20.8" scale, 36 mm nut width, 12.5" body width, 33" total length.
The soundboard is made from reclaimed piano soundboard wood, aged approximately 100 years, and sounds very rich and resonant. The bowl-back is made from apple wood, and provides a reverberant quality to enliven the sound.
